This 35 second clip shows the DC-8 leaving Dryden for the University of North Dakota. NASA's DC-8 flying laboratory departed the Dryden Flight Research Center at Edwards Air Force Base, Calif., for its new home at Grand Forks, N.D., on Sept. 14, 2005. The unique aircraft is destined to become the centerpiece of a new National Suborbital Education and Research Center at the University of North Dakota. |
